In the shockwave community, technical terms are often misused and misunderstood, leading to confusion and ambiguity surrounding complex terminology and implementation.

We believe that a lack of clarity may prevent practitioners from understanding what they can achieve with the available modalities, therefore not allowing them to optimise their clinical decision-making.

This area of Shockwave Academy is dedicated to solving this issue. 

We will be sharing resources, videos, and research in digestible formats, with an emphasis on practical relevance – trying to avoid the pitfalls of overcomplication or oversimplifying concepts.
